Bambini Bicocca Ltd. (BB) is an innovative startup with a social mission (ISSM). Founded in May 2019 as a spin-off from the University of Milano-Bicocca, the company stands as the first university spin-off dedicated to research and teacher education in the field of Early Childhood Education and Care. Alongside the university, BB collaborates with six social cooperatives and a foundation, collectively managing 200 services.

BB represents the evolution of the Bambini Bicocca Consortium, established in 2005, with the goal of disseminating the expertise gained in managing both the Bambini Bicocca Nido (2005) and Bambini Bicocca Scuola dell’Infanzia (2017). 

The primary objective of BB is to encourage the creation of innovative learning environments focusing on STEAM language, and inclusion. 

An extensive range of services is available for public authorities and companies, including: 

• Consulting for project design, creating solutions, facilities, and initiatives aimed at enhancing the lives of families and children aged 0-6. 
• Pedagogical support in designing/upgrading learning spaces and facilities within childcare environments. 
• Operational guidance in establishing and launching new childcare businesses. 
• Conducting feasibility studies. 
• Online and in-person training sessions tailored for parents and parents-to-be on contemporary educational topics. 
• Professional workshops and activities designed for toddlers (project design). 
• Teacher training courses and workshops.
